Alright, as most of you know, Sunrise entered the stores today, and I've already finished the book.

DISCUSSING: Hollyleaf and Honeyfern's deaths, Dovekit/ Dove's Wing, Jayfeather and Lionblaze




It was very depressing for me, a Holly-lover, who only wanted to see her favorite character come out on top. And now she's dead. Will she go to StarClan or the Dark Forest? Was she trying to kill herself, or was it an unfortunate accident? I couldn't bring myself to read it again; that's how painful it was for me. I  couldn't believe it when Hollyleaf announced it all; even though she killed Ashfur to STOP him.

PLUS, DOVEKIT. DUH! How big of a spoiler is that NAME?! It's Dove's Wing, of course, ancient Jayfeather's sister.

BACK TO HOLLYLEAF;
She wasn't one of the three. I thought I had it all figured out! Each kitty displayed a different aspect of Clan life...

LIONBLAZE- fighter
HOLLYLEAF- hunter
JAYFEATHER- medicine cat

But I was so, totally wrong. What were the Erins thinking? Oh, I loved Holly so much. I just can't let her go, you know? It makes my blood turn to ice at her fate. She should have at least died a noble death, not one of a coward. I hope we will see Hollyleaf again in the books, and I wish her good luck with the Erins, as they seem to get rid of the best characters.

Like Honeyfern. Gosh.

EPIC HONEYxBERRY MOMENT! And suddenly, it happened. Honey was dead, and Berry was grieving. Another warrior lost, another of my favorites.

Furthermore, I'm not going to take down my theories on Ashfur and Squirrelflight, as I would like to forget Sunrise, although I never will. Poor, poor Hollyleaf.

I was wondering when Dove's Wing would come back into the picture. One of the three, hmm? So, if...

BRIGHTSPIRIT is Half Moon
JAYFEATHER is Jay's Wing
DOVEKIT is Dove's Wing



THEN WHO IS LIONBLAZE, AND WHERE THE HECK DID HOLLYLEAF FIT INTO THE PROPHECY? "the three have come, the three have come..." were the ANCESTORS as naive as we were?

A deviant has pointed out to me: What if Hollyleaf faked her death? That made me think, and think hard I did. After reveiwing the text I was so hesitant to reread only a day ago, I have found that this theory may possibly be true!

First, why didn't her brothers... or her Clan, go after her body?

Because she announced the secret to every cat?
No, her Clan would look for her body, at least. Surely DIRT can't be THAT hard to get through.

Second, why didn't Jayfeather reach into her mind and see if she was dead?

because he knew?

Well, how COULD he know? Hollyleaf could've outrun the downpour and escaped unharmed...

So, my NEWEST theory is, now that we've found that she has no powers, she'll be back. Oh, yes. She'll be back. TO HAUNT US! ...but mostly her replacement. I still think she has a power, just not a -good- power.

BUM. BUM. BUM.
